PDFcove grew out of a simple frustration: PDF apps are built for previewing documents, not for reading them. A textbook, a research paper or an ebook deserves a calm, book-like environment — not a toolbar across half the screen.
PDFcove is an independent project by a single maker from Slovakia. There is no company behind it, no investors, and no data business.
Why is it free?
No annoying ads, no subscription, no data selling — we don't even have a way to see your files; everything happens on your device. I fund the project from my own pocket and from voluntary support by readers PDFcove helps.
